B-Lines Lung Ultrasound
The B-line represents comet-tail hyperechoic artifact arising from the pleural line which does not fade with increasing depth.
Significance : B-line corresponds with subpleural thickened interlobular septa present in alveolar-interstitial syndromes. Few B-lines (<3/field of view) can be found under normal cases as well.
